Hi

So...my name is Jennifir. I write for the Asheville Blog as well as have a blog of my own I write on with two other girls who go to church with me. I want to introduce myself. I live right here in Waynesville. I have been here for ten years and absolutely love it here. It is my goal to help spread information about events or business or even pictures of the beauty right here in Haywood County. I'm a floral designer at Biltmore House. I have an amazing church! I look forward to this being a chance for me to get to know our little city that much more!

God bless you all!

Waynesville Highway Signs (in and around part 4)

Canton Exit in Haywood County NC.

If I go West, I head toward Knoxville Tennessee as you can see. Going straight puts me on I-40 East toward Asheville North Carolina.

More Knoxville or Asheville signs.

Haywood County Prisoners Hard at Work

Here is a prioner picking up trash from the side of the road, with a supervisor and many more prisoners in the prison work crew van behind him.

Dairy Queen in Cherokee North Carolina

I just love the sign and they serve breakfast too. This is a favorite for us to take the kids to anytime we pass it. The Cherokee Museum is right down the road, and the new Kituwah Academy being built is about 1/2 mile in the other direction.

First United Methodist Church in Waynesville NC

When the First United Methodist Church burnt down years ago, the whole neighborhood mourned for this great Church family. The brick front and wall running down the left was all that was left after the disaster. Jerry Payne Construction from Asheville NC landed the contract to rebuild this great structure. One's of Jerry's best Superintendents, Rev. Dallas James, coordinated this job very smoothly and it became a great success for everyone. This church stand tall and strong once again! www.fumc-waynesville.com
